Triple F.A.T. Goose Runway Show
FASHION REVIEW WRITTEN BY PHONZ L. THOMAS | PHOTOGRAPHY BY PASSION
New York Fashion Week is always an exciting time in the city. Triple F.A.T. Goose, a company founded in 1987 which was known best for its infamous outerwear jackets made to withstand and endure the cold winter months, unveiled its re-launch to the fashion industry. Hosting a runway show that took place at Pier 59 Studios in Lower Manhattan, Triple F.A.T. Goose presented their return after a twenty year hiatus with the Spring/Summer 2011 fashions. No longer considered just the company that only makes coats, the new Triple F.A.T. Goose now includes pieces that can be worn year around including denims, knits, woven shirts and shorts along with their signature jackets.
The event was hosted by Sway of MTV and had a huge turnout of fashionistas and fashionistos in the urban apparel market. In addition to displaying what’s to come, Triple F.A.T. Goose also allowed pieces of the current Fall/Winter 2010 to make the catwalk as well. Some of our favorite pieces from the line that we seen that evening were the Collegiate Vest, the Chevron Jacket, the Revolver Cardigan, and the Classic-V Bubble. All of these fashions will be exclusively sold at Macy’s Department Stores and independent specialty boutiques and online retailers later this fall.
Triple F.A.T. Goose proves that any line can make a comeback and be successful if passion for fashion is truly behind it. For more information on Triple F.A.T.
