Lil’ Kim Shuts It Down at El Morocco

If there was ever a doubt in anyone’s mind that Lil’ Kim still held the title, Queen B – she solidified it early Sunday into Monday morning December 12 & 13 while performing at El Morocco in Harlem on West 145th and Broadway for the Sunday party “Escandalo Boyz Night.” Always a supporter of the GLBT community, Kim came out and showed out for a crowded room that even brought out her straight fans. She hit the stage swinging at Nicki Minaj with her diss record, “Black Friday” and even continued taking shots at Nicki while performing “Big Momma Thang” stating “she want to be the Queen B, but she can’t be, that’s why she mad at me!”

The Grammy winner, former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, and originator of Female Raunchy Rap continued the wee morning performance with hits such as “How Many Licks”, “Magic Stick”, “Queen Bitch”, and she even did her own vocal rendition of the popular Jay-Z and Alicia Keys anthem “Empire State Of Mind” while proclaiming her love for her hometown NYC. She ended the show saying that her next stop was Africa to do a performance.  Rumor has it all these shows are meant to create a buzz for Lil’ Kim’s next album, Hard Core 2: All Hail the Queen. Which ever the case may be, Kim’s not giving up her title just yet and she still has it in her to shut shows down.
