R&B crooner Bobby V is back to work promoting his anticipated forth solo studio album, Fly On The Wall which he plans to drop in March. The album, which will debut under Capital Records and his own label Blu Kolla Dreams; is a collection of love-making slow jams mixed with a few club bangers that really showcases Bobby V’s growth musically as an artist. This just may be the album to catapult him on Billboard’s Top 100 lists. Bobby V put his songwriting skills to work on this project, by writing most of the lyrics to the tracks himself. He teamed back up with producers Tim & Bob, LOS, B. Cox, and Big Fruit who all worked with him on his earlier projects, and has instituted new productions skills by Pentagon, Hit Boy & Chase, Pot Roast, Jazze Phae, and Jeff B.

Full Blast Magazine had the chance to attend an exclusive listening event for the new album, and we were impressed! His joint, “Hang On” is one of those tracks you put on when it’s time to make love. This track is a very sensual song that once it drops we know listeners who slacked on Valentine’s Day will celebrate it with that special one all over again. On “Heaven” Bobby V’s lyrics talk about a special lady he feels was sent from Heaven. This track has a lot of live instruments. “L.O.V.E.” is Bobby V’s take on the Pop music phenomenon that’s recently been sweep all genres and this song talks about wanting love to find you versus running out to find it. But our hands down favorite track off the new album is “Alter Ego” which features rapper 50 Cent. This joint lets the ladies know that when they get intimate with Bobby V, he turns into another person – so be prepared!

Fly On The Wall is definitely an album that you will want to have in your collect for 2011. No one currently on the male R&B scene can hold a flicker to the flames this album possesses. It’s a very phenomenal roller coaster ride about finding love, being in love, and making love last, and what happens when love is tested. Far from his heydays in Mista, Bobby V’s Fly On The Wall is something you’ll want to capture and hold on to.
